5 “Some Love is Infinite” StarsI have said this many times before but nobody tells a story about family like the Ritchie sisters. Infini was no exception. They can weave a beautiful romance for a couple and still manage to give you lots of time with their inner circle without the story suffering.
The first few chapters of Infini were heartbreaking. Luka begins to tell his story and it was raw. You felt the pain he was in when he tells of his lost love Baylee. Baylee’s POV hadn’t even been introduced and you felt like you were already invested in their love story.
“I have lived partially. Halfly. Incompletely. To be whole, I did not know until my bones thundered and bellowed for more.” <-----Hands down one of the most beautiful quotes I have ever read.
Luka and Baylee met in their teens performing in Aerial Ethereal. They are torn apart due to a stipulation in contracts for underage performers. The separation is so extreme they don’t get to say goodbye and their hearts are left in limbo. Now legal adults they are pushed together again to perform in Infini but they are still bound by their contract. The angst is heavy in this story. But their forbidden love is too strong and eventually the tension between Baylee and Luka explodes.
"All I know is what I feel. And I'm in love with you, Bay. Right now. Not just five years ago - but here, today. Yesterday. Tomorrow. It's forever kind of love, and I'm not letting go. I can't let go."
This story has several heavy topics as you learn some of Luka’s issues and Baylee’s pain and need to be whole. You will also fall in love with all of the side characters. I was excited to get more tidbits into John and Timo’s relationship. There is heartbreaking news for Nikolai and Thora and an introduction to Sergei; the Kotova brother they feel abandoned them. Katya completely stole my heart and I am hoping we get to see her grow more. And that Dimitri is going to steam up the pages when he gets his book. Plus as a bonus; if you are a big fan of the Addicted series like I am, you are going to be screaming with joy over all the mentions.
Infini can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read Amour Amour. Each character and couple in the Aerial Ethereal universe are unique and worth the journey. Here's to hoping the Ritchie sisters can write more in this universe.

Infini A Standalone Romance Aerial Ethereal edition by Krista Ritchie Becca Ritchie Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
I’m currently running on like zero sleep because of this book so bear with me. I’m trying to make this review as less “rambly” as possible, but that’s always pretty difficult to do with your favorite books. I just want to start with saying that this was like nothing I was expecting, but I was never disappointed.
This was everything I could want in a KB book.
• A realistic romantic relationship
• Strong family bonds
• Amazing female friendships
• A lovable and adorable hero
• A sweet and strong heroine
• Laugh out loud banter
Like all of KB’s books it’s the characters that really make this book exceptional. The main ones and the supporting ones alike. Krista and Becca always manage to write such complex, diverse, and relatable characters!
Infini is told in two-POVs Luka & Bayle. Luka was first introduced in Amour Amour, he’s a 20-year-old Russian-American, and too pure for this world. We first meet Baylee in Infini, she’s a 19-year-old Jamaican-American, and all around sweetheart. I wish I could talk about the romance more, but I feel like everything is a spoiler so I won’t. If you’re a fan of friends-to-lovers, you’ll love this! Luka and Baylee’s relationship was filled with honesty and open communication and love, there was never any unnecessary drama. (Though this was a lot more angsty than Amour Amour!) They were too adorable.
The entire Kotova family was amazing to read about. I also loved learning more about Dimitri. Timo, Katya, and Nik were a huge part of the plot, and I loved seeing Luka’s relationship with each one of them plus their own individual lives. (Timo & Luka scenes literally made me tear up.) Female friendships were also very prominent in Infini. There was this certain scene where all the girls are gathered together, and it was honestly one of my favorite scenes of the book.
So yeah, if you liked Amour Amour, you definitely need to read this. Or if you’ve never read a book by Krista & Becca this one (or Amour Amour) could be a great first book, as it can be read as a standalone.
P.S. I am so ready for future books in this world.
